Use Case: Test the Seasonality of donor activity and donor type.

Description: Customer loaded two unique donor activity lists; one for Winter (holiday season) and the other for Summer (May-August).

Discovery: Monetary donations were more prevalent during the Winter months whereas donations of time via volunteer activity was higher in the summer months.  Also, donor demographic/psychographic profiles for each group were completely different when comparing those who donated time vs money.  See related article.

Use Case:  Create stronger customer engagement and loyalty from their fan base.

Description: Leveraging the power of big-data, KISS combined Clientell’s data with their customer information to produce better insights about their fan base.

Discovery:  KISS discovered unique characteristics about their fans and could use this information for on-going concert and promotional activities.

Use Case: Create a strategy using data to become more effective and more targeted in their business practices.

Description: Customer needed a way to aggregate and access automotive data in an efficient and effective way to better serve their clients.

Discovery: Customer recognized 317% growth in their first year of utilizing Clientell.

 

Clear Labs

Use Case: Use Big Data Analytics to uncover key characteristics about a specific geographical area that would assist in successfully marketing real estate services.

Description: Prepared a demographic / psychographic analysis on specific zip codes to verify and develop the initial findings of attitudinal research.

Discovery:  The customer found that the attitudinal findings were not consistent with the actual buying behaviors of the demographic, thus creating an opportunity to pivot their messaging for the end client.

 

Allied Bank

Use Case:  A major bank used Clientell to profile their current customers and find prospective customers that looked like their existing ones within the U.S.  

Description:  Uploaded customer names/addresses and down-loaded new prospects directly from the web-based tool.

Discovery:  Quickly weeded out cold prospects that would never have converted.

 

Timex

Use Case:  A large US watch manufacturer wanted to market directly to their consumers for a special Father’s Day/graduation sales blitz.

Description: Used web-based software to analyze over 60,000 customers; segmented those customers by three products: entry level watches (cheap), sports watches, and high-end watches (expensive).

Discovery:  Micro-segments for each product emerged which were used to build unique marketing messages to capture new prospects.

Use Case:  A large Printing company wanted to leverage the power of Big Data Analytics for large scale clients to offer more services than their competitors.

Description: Offered add-on analytical services to high paying clients such as; market analytics, consumer psychographic reporting, look-a-like prospecting, and micro-segmentation.

Discovery:  Higher spend per client for additional services at a low cost to the printing company.

 

Kimberly-Clark 

Use Case: Analyzed location demographics to determine Kimberly Clark product placement.  

Description: Used our big data analytic platform to investigate a 3-mile radius around several stores.  Top Psychographic results were compared to the other three Costco locations in the Atlanta, Ga area.  The analysis focused on "Senior" adults.  

Discovery:  Identified important negative correlations showing where the target population was less likely to exhibit certain behaviors.

Use Case:  A mid-sized printing company wanted to leverage the power of Big Data Analytics for large scale clients in offering more services.
